UPDATE One old/new painting added

Hello everyone,
I'm off to bed, but I wanted to post a little bit here saying that I added a new post to my Art Pages. I will be adding more when I get some more time to do so, this week!
I hope you all had a great weekend, it's snowing again where I am (New Brunswick Canada), and I myself believe we have had enough of it, we have had so much snow fall that we don't know where to put it!

The walk ways in between where our lawn use to be looks like a little gully, it looks to be about 2 to 2 and a half inches high (and that's not even where the huge snow banks are), and well the snow banks are all above my head and than some, here is a photo I took when I was walking to a friends house last weekend.

Hello everyone;

I know I haven't been around for a VERY LONG TIME! But I have been creating, painting, drawing and thinking up more ideas for new creations! I had a big creative zone and had to use that time and get to creating! 

I actually did a lot of painting and have updated an old painting (with WIP pics to be added later) and (around 4 or 5)new paintings as well. And I will be adding them all later, I just want to take pics/scans first and than add them at the same time to my computer so I can explain a little bit about them.

I've been really busy with my child and this summer really has been a busy one with lots of out door activities as well as planning for our future and getting ready/shopping for school! Who's excited about school starting? 

I am and so is my son, he actually said "I can't wait to go to school", he misses his friends, because he doesn't have many around where we live, actually he had one and they just moved so he is even more impatient to start.

So Hopefully in a few days I will have everything in order and add all my new art :-)

I'm always working on a water color master piece I can't wait to share it when I finally finish it. It has been in my mind and planned for over a year now on how it has been coming together!

I want to Thank You all for your patience (well those who have been wondering if at all) in waiting for at least an update or something!

I do think of you all, just so you know! You are all wonderful people and I always look forward to seeing updates on your blogs and such, I also look forward to any comments if posted!

New paintings and a better less complicated idea.

Hello everyone,
I have decided that I am going to just add my new art here, instead to my website, because they are going to be deactivating bravehost accounts and switching to a new bravesites and changing their rules and stuff...So I am just going to put my new stuff here and not worry about the HTML of things.

So here are a few new paintings.


 Well I know you are probably wondering why my clock painting, doesn't have any hands! I did that on purpose, I don't feel it needs any hands as it is a different kind of fantasy time travelers clock lol...I like my art to have a fantasy feel to it, and so this clock does not have hands because it is non-winding, and it's time is infinite. I know it looks amateurish, but I don't care, and I just like to share my art with the world :-)


 This is my gears painting, I sketched it out before the clock, but decided to paint the clock first, as to bring in the gears of the clock, so they kind of go together as a pair :-) I may add more to it as I do not feel it is quite finished yet and needs some more shadow and color added.

And this is my new landscape painting, I hadn't painting one in a long time and I have been reading a great landscape painting book which has a lot of good things in there. I'll add a link to it for those who would like to try landscape painting and see that it isn't as hard as it looks :-)
I'd also like to add that some of this painting is not visible, because I scanned it and it's a little too big for the scanner, I will try to take a photo of it later and see if it comes out better and post it here in place of this one.

So here is the link for the book I used for a little bit of a guide, there is just so much in it that you'd have to see for yourself, it shows you different techniques and how to use more than one canvas to make a nice big painting for your wall! (2, 3, or even 4 canvases put together as 1) I hope you all enjoy my art because I enjoy creating it and sharing it!

A quick update and another new book!

Hello everyone and I hope your week has been great so far.

Here are some new updates! Not to my site however, but I just got a new book last week! I am loving it and I also took a course that this book was based around.

What's the book you ask?

Drawing on The Right Side of The Brain(newest and revised version) is a great book for beginners who just want a different approach to drawing experiences and a different kind of "seeing" how to draw like an artist! Actually it is designed for people who think they can't draw...I agree with this book because I have had friends tell me the only thing they can draw is stick men. Anyone can draw, and this is a great book for those looking to try their hand at drawing maybe even as just a hobby. 

 This book has instructions as well as photos showing you that with these techniques you can become the artist you never thought you could be. They have photos SHOWING how far others have come in this course and the Authors classes. 

This book also doesn't make you feel as discouraged as you normally would, because it's approach is to just be calm, don't stress out if it isn't perfect and just relax and go with the flow. 

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their artistic skills or just anyone who want to learn how to draw in general. This book is great for everyone, not just beginners, but professionals a like. 

So I have been drawing and trying some of these techniques, and trying to stay calm at this time in my life. Sometimes we must pick a hobby and or activity to keep us going and to look to more positive things while we are feeling negative.

Hello everyone!
I noticed I have some more followers! Thanks so much!
I also would like to let everyone know I have a new WIP(work in progress) I am adding to one of my art pages. It's just something of a quick sketching practice for me right now until I perfect it. That way I can just improve on my skills and feel more confident in my ability to replicate from photo, still life or live model references. It's an area where I feel most challenged as of right now. Please find edited added info below!

I have also been thinking of losing some of the ads on my site (except the hosting ones added by bravenet of course) and possibly add a donate button. It's in the mind as an idea, but not quite a set on page thing yet.

I will be editing this post later when I finish with my webpages in order to post links to the pages I have worked on today, so with that in mind, please feel free to come back here to my Art Pages blob and see if it has been updated, so you see if I have finished my webpage working today!

NEW UPDATE coming about! SKETCHING, PAINTINGS, DIGITAL and more!

So far I have added 3 new art pages ( art 5, art 6, and art 7)and I have also added some new sketches and some paintings. I have a big sketch and big painting to added as well. I am still working on the organization so that I will have them in order of SKETCHING, PAINTINGS and DIGITAL in their own places (pages), rather than having them all scattered together.

Another UPDATE!

I have been fixing the navigational links and adding them to the tops and the bottoms of the pages so it is a bit easier to get around. So if you are at the top and scroll down to look at the whole page, you now wont have to click back on the browser nor scroll back up to link the next page links# at the top.

I have a page specifically made for advertisements, newly added and I am trying to fix it so it doesn’t look so overwhelming with ads. I have moved those to the sides and left a text area where I will say a few words.

So in the mean time keep checking the site if you wish to see all the new and exciting changes that I am doing with my site!
