I am adding some new and updated painting on my art pages HERE Hope you enjoy! and please don't forget to follow me and leave a comment so that I can follow you as well :)

I have an update and I want to share a WIP (work in process) with you, for the time being! I couldn't sleep so I figured, I may as well come on here and prove I haven't walked off or vanished off the face of the earth!

Here is something digital I am working on slowly...

So as you can see, it's slowly coming together and I have been saving it each time I add a few new things...So that I could share the process.
Hope you like it!

An update!

Hello everyone,

I would like to say sorry for not being around, and here is an update! I have been very busy, with, no school for me, and time with my child. As well as keep busy with other appointments and trying to find a job.

Summer is coming and I am planning on doing a lot of outdoor activities. I have some new paintings that need scanning as well as a few drawings I have finished as well. But due to me being busy with everything else, sadly my website and blog has been neglected. Sorry about that!

Social outside of my home is becoming a new venture so I may be a while before posting post to post.

I thank you for the patience!

A quick update and another new book!

Hello everyone and I hope your week has been great so far.
Here are some new updates! Not to my site however, but I just got a new book last week! I am loving it and I also took a course that this book was based around.

What's the book you ask?

Drawing on The Right Side of The Brain(newest and revised version) is a great book for beginners who just want a different approach to drawing experiences and a different kind of "seeing" how to draw like an artist! Actually it is designed for people who think they can't draw...I agree with this book because I have had friends tell me the only thing they can draw is stick men. Anyone can draw, and this is a great book for those looking to try their hand at drawing maybe even as just a hobby.

This book has instructions as well as photos showing you that with these techniques you can become the artist you never thought you could be. They have photos SHOWING how far others have come in this course and the Authors classes.

This book also doesn't make you feel as discouraged as you normally would, because it's approach is to just be calm, don't stress out if it isn't perfect and just relax and go with the flow.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their artistic skills or just anyone who want to learn how to draw in general. This book is great for everyone, not just beginners, but professionals a like.

So I have been drawing and trying some of these techniques, and trying to stay calm at this time in my life. Sometimes we must pick a hobby and or activity to keep us going and to look to more positive things while we are feeling negative.

That is what I have been up to lately as well. I have been keeping busy. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week and please feel free to comment! I may not respond the same day, but remember I always respond!

I got two new ARTISTS books! Strokes of Genius and Wonderful Landscape s! DRAWING AND PAINTING!

So I was at the books store and got two wonderful new artist books, I've decided to post a little bit of a review of the books in-case anyone else might be interested in buying one or both of them! I got both! I was looking for some inspirational books and wanted something newer and I got these both at a lower cost than their original prices!
The first one is "Fast & Fun Landscape paining by Donna Dewberry"

This books looks great and I took a few glances in it and I just love it! It's FILLED with Landscape paintings as well as some WIP(work in progress) explanations for artist wanting to try it themselves. She makes it looks so easy I think I maybe try a few small paintings and hang them on my walls because honestly my walls could use some pictures to fill up some empty spaces.

The next book I got is "Strokes of Genius the best of drawing Edited By Rachel Rubin Wolf"

This book is FILLED with drawings done by many different artist with a wide verity of drawing mediums and techniques. This is a big books so all the images within are very easy to make out. If an artist was wanting to try to do a copy version for personal skill enhancing the visual is big and clear enough to see every stroke! I can definitely see why it says strokes of genius! These many different artists have been drawn from hundreds of submissions all over the world!

I can't wait to get started on both of them! Seriously looking forward to it, but I am so excited, I am unsure which one I will start with. I was so excited about getting them, I had to share thew NEWS! :)

Information about my site

Since this is my first real blog posting with more information about my site. I am just going to tell you the story of how everything came about, in a nutshell!

My website; showcasing my art, has come a very long way! The website itself started as just me playing around with html and creating a website for something to do. I didn't have any topics or any general idea of what the website would be about. But now that I have put more focus on my creativity, it has become so much more than just a regular website!

Over the years I have entered free HTML courses online; to learn more about website creation, for personal knowledge, of course! I had also join groups online for graphics programs, I gained knowledge and bettered my creativity in the process. These all being FREELY learned online, as a personal hobby. With these courses I took, I gained certification of completion! Even though those certifications were small, they gave me a sense of pleasure, knowing I had finished something I wanted for myself. Just simple things like that can give someone confidence to want to do more and better things for themselves!

I am going through my pages on my website and than when I am finally done that I will post what is new, my next blog posting with be a bit of an introduction.

Happy Easter!

About this Blog

Hello!
And this is my blog for my art website! This is the place you would want to be if you wanted to know if anything new has been added, and to where. Without this blog you would have to go to the website and go through all the many different pages to find anything new and try to guess what or where it might be!

This is also a great place to leave comments and or feedback about what you think, what you might like to see, or maybe even some opinion of changes you wouldn't mind seeing! You can make requests, set a challenge for me( if I am up to the challenge) or anything else you might have in mind for my art pages!

Please have a look around while I am still working and will add some new added updates here later one!

Thanks for taking the time to view!
